App Producer

MOBspree is a fast-paced mobile start-up looking for Mac savvy team members to configure and optimize iPhone and Android apps for our rapidly growing client base. Our highly flexible social-mobile solutions have hit the mark with organizations that see the explosive potential of mobile apps but have been discouraged by the cost and limitations of traditionally engineered, one-off apps. We have shattered the barriers posed by custom programmed apps.

The market response to MOBspree has been overwhelming and we’re looking for creative, solution oriented FlexApp producers to help fulfill the demand. Because the FlexApp Framework transforms custom app development into a creative configuration process, no programming skills are required. We will help you leverage your Mac, Web, and CMS skills to create and optimize FlexApps for our rapidly growing base of clients.

MOBspree is building a team of FlexApp Producers at our conveniently located SoMa headquarters.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to think quickly under pressure and proficient at assessing needs
  • Punctual, organized, self-directed, resourceful, and persistent
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and hardware technologies
  • Working knowledge of mobile Smartphone devices and their capabilities (Advanced iPhone or Android/Droid user)
  • Ability to communicate effectively via voice, email and video conferencing
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional collaborative working relationships with co-workers and peers
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience may override
  • Logical thinker – ability to visualize client solutions and how the pieces and variables fit together
  • Mac Savvy – know your way around Mac OS X and advanced features
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal, Word Press, Expression Engine, etc. a plus

Account Rep

MOBspree has created a breakthrough social-mobile application platform and we are looking for proactive, motivated, organized, and responsible team members that are able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment selling mobile marketing solutions that deliver on the promise of mobile.

Our efforts focus on the ways MOBspree’s social-mobile application platform will help our clients achieve immediate and accountable communication with the mobile enabled consumer.

Sales team members identify our clients' business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives, and teach them about how current and future MOBspree products can deliver results.

The Smartphone user base is currently 374M strong in 2010 and is projected to become 766M by 2012 according to a study conducted by RBC Capital Markets. Over 6 billion iPhone and Android apps will be downloaded this year alone.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a consistent sales pipeline on a daily basis via telephone, email, and social media
  • Train prospective clients in breakthrough mobile marketing platform and techniques
  • Match and configure the best app packages for client needs
  • Meet sales goals and spread the energy with your team
  • Consistently and thoroughly maintain CRM data
  • Cultivate and share effective sales strategies
  • Help clients and prospects understand the benefits of social-mobile marketing
  • Work with client base to ensure consistent value is delivered
  • Identify up-sell opportunities that truly benefit clients as well as yourself and MOBspree
  • Post-sales feature training, support, and account management

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience making outbound calls to generate sales with small and medium businesses (SMB)
  • Ability to think quickly under pressure and be proficient at assessing client needs
  • Punctual, organized, independent, resourceful, and diligent
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and hardware technologies
  • Working knowledge of mobile Smartphone devices and their capabilities (Advanced iPhone or Android/Droid user)
  • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone by utilizing active listening and clear speaking
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email and social media utilizing proper grammar and punctuation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and peers
  • Experience using GoToMeeting for online client presentations and meetings
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using online CRM tools and other utilities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience may override
  • Familiarity with interactive advertising metrics such as CTR, Conversion, CPC, CPM, etc.
  • Understanding of campaign optimization, direct response advertising, and multivariate testing
  • Knowledge of SEO/PPC a big plus
  • Logical thinker – ability to visualize client solutions and how the pieces and variables fit together

Compensation:

  • Competitive base and commission model
  • Strong closers will earn $95K – $105K
  • Average closers earn $45K - $50K (but you wouldn’t settle for that would you?)
